Rare fossils identified at rock swap

The South Dakota School of Mines & Technology hosted a rock swap and rock identification Saturday in its Museum of Geology. Collectors were able to bring in rocks and fossils they had found and have them identified by geologists. They could also bring in a rock they didn't particularly want and trade it for a better one.
