The 24 - 55 metre wide asteroid 2011 GE3 made a close pass (10.7 lunar distances, 0.0274 AU), travelling at 6.25 km/second, to the Earth-Moon system on the 2nd April, 2011 @ 11:20 UT ±00:04.

The Lunar Distance (LD), the distance between Earth and the Moon, equals 384,401 km, (or 0.00256 AU).
