Flying object spotted in Northeast El Paso were mylar balloons

Residents in the Northeast reported seeing a fiery object in the sky Tuesday night and then hearing a loud popping sound like a small explosion.
Rob Garcia, a resident who lives at an apartment complex near Rushing Road, said the object was moving east to west around 8:45 p.m. and looked like a small aircraft that was on fire.
