After gazing at the stars for years, soon Dean Regas will be one.
A TV star.
The Cincinnati Observatory outreach astronomer will become permanent co-host of PBS' late-night one-minute weekly "Star Gazer" features with Florida astronomer James Albury on Oct. 4.
They replace the late Jack Horkheimer, who started "Star Gazer" 30 years ago. He died in August.
