Cowboys heard a sonic sound boom and saw a small dust cloud at the impact site. They found two fragments about 1kg, in a small crater in a sand field.

The Uchkuduk (L6 Chondrite) meteorite fell in Navoi, Uzbekistan, on the 21st June, 1989, 18:00 local time.
A total mass of 1000 g was recovered.
A sonic boom and a small dust cloud at the impact site in a sand field was observed by some cow herders. Two fragments in a small crater, totalling about 1 kg, were found.

41° 46'N, 62° 31'E
