It is represented by a single specimen in the British Museum, I personally bought the Last year Mr. Boubée, a geologist and mineral dealer in Paris, the specimen is devoid of crust, and is accompanied by a label indicating that it is part of a stone that fell near Marmande, the July 4, 1848, Mr. Boubée knew nothing more about him, except that he had found himself and the label in the effects of a Colonel in the French Army who had die. The stone resembles in appearance and color to the stones of Château-Renard, but a closer look shows a more crystalline texture, which approximates the meteorite Juvinas. It appears that there is no account of this fall, and there is no other specimen in English or continental collections.
