The meteorite fell on the territory of the N.K. Krupskaya collective farm, where later an early rocket launching pad was built. The meteorite fall was in the center of the village (khutor) of Repeev between the barns and kindergartens, within 30 m of them. The meteorite was found in a shallow 50 cm hole by a boy named Alexey Sakhnov.

The Repeev Khutor (Iron) meteorite fell in Astrakhanskaya oblast', Russia, on the 8th August, 1933.
A total mass of 7 kg was recovered.

48° 36'N, 45° 40'E
