The Slabodka meteorite, with an initial weight of "seven pounds" fell on August 10, 1818 on a farm in the village of Slabodka (formerly governorate Smolensk) and penetrated into the ground by "ten inches." The meteorite is noteworthy because the shape is very similar to the shape of the Doroninsk meteorite.

The Slobodka (L4) meteorite fell in Smolenskaya oblast', Russia, on the 10th August, 1818.
A total mass of 2.75 kg was recovered.
