Conway, Arkansas resident Jim Griffey dug up a funny-looking rock while planting a tree in his backyard but didn't think anything of it until he noticed that this particular rock had some weird magnetic properties.
A local rockhound confirmed that it was a genuine meteorite of considerable value - but of value to whom?

What would you do if you found a piece of a meteorite in your yard?
Jim Griffey just thought it was a rock after hitting it with his post hole diggers.
Griffey says after really inspecting it he knew this wasn't any normal rock. He grabbed a magnet to see if it might be some kind of metal.

A man who found a meteorite in his back garden has swapped it for a Harley-Davidson.
Jim Griffey, 63 from Cabot, Arkansas, was using a hole-boring tool in preparation to plant trees in his back garden when he hit a rock. He dug the rock out and tossed it aside.
