Dark Sky event to feature meteors Saturday

The next in a series of monthly programs at Emmet County's Dark Sky Park at the Headlands will take place Saturday, Aug. 20, beginning at dusk.
"The 7th Night of the 7th Moon" program will inaugurate the season of intense meteor activity. Sunset is at 8:41 p.m.; guests should arrive around 8:15 p.m. to locate a viewing spot. The event is free and open to the public.
