Title: Earth-crossing Asteroids as Initial Parent Bodies of Meteorites with CRE Age <100,000 Years Authors: Eugster, O.; Lorenzetti, S.; Lin, Y.; Wang, D.
Within about 20 years two H5 chondrites fell near the city of Zhuanghe, Liaoning province in China. The first one was named Zhuanghe. A 2.90 kg stone fell on August 18, 1976 into muddy soil in the village Shishan. The second one was named Guangmingshan: a 2.91 kg stone fell on December 30, 1996 into frozen ground in the village Guangmingshan. We obtained samples of these meteorites for characterising the mineralogy, chemical composition and noble gases.
