The most recent fall of a mesosiderite occurred at Dong Ujimqin Qi in China, on September 7, 1995, where three large pieces with a total mass of 129 kilograms (280 lb) fell.

On a cloudless day, people heard a tremendous sound and observed black smoke. Meteorites weighing 88.2 kg, 38 kg, and 2.6 kg were then recovered in a meadow.

The Dong Ujimqin Qi (Mesosiderite) meteorite fell in Nei Mongol, China, on the 7th September, 1995.
A total mass of 128.8 kg was recovered.

45° 30'N, 119° 2'E
