The International Astronomical Union (IAU) has approved new names for four craters on Mars.
Palikir for a 21.5-km-wide Martian crater located at -41.6°S, 202.16°E. The feature was named in honour of the capital of the Federated States of Micronesia.
Corozal for a 10.4-km-wide Martian crater located at -38.79°S, 159.43°E. The feature was named in honour of a town in Belize.
Raga for a 5.2-km-wide Martian crater located at -48.1°S, 242.43°E. The feature was named in honour of a town in South Sudan.
Tivat for a 4.6-km-wide Martian crater located at -45.93°S, 9.53°E. The feature was named in honour of a town in Montenegro.
