After the appearance of a fireball and detonations, a stone was seen to fall, of which a piece weighing 125g was presented to the French Academy, (ref. of 1 857).

The Les Ormes (L6) meteorite fell in Bourgogne, France, on the 1st October, 1857.
A total mass of 125 g was recovered.

48° 21'N, 3° 15'E
