The Leonid meteor shower of 2006 was supposed to be faint, but some sky watchers in Europe saw spectacular fireballs. Reports are still coming in, so stay tuned for updates.
The result for this year was that there were very few meteors, and mostly faint with no fireballs. Interestingly, there were a noticeable amount of sporadics from the constellation Gemini.
Here in northern Italy for the moment there is a good weather, I'm a little worried for the coming fog.... but it seems staying near the ground, let's hope...
