In 1848 on the 27.december an 850 gram meteorite fell down at Langhus, Ski not so far away from our school. Today the meteorite is placed at the Geological Museum in Oslo. This is the first known discovery of a meteorite in Norway. An exact replica of the meteorite is hanging from the ceiling at the Ski mall were the pupils go shopping.

The Ski (L6) meteorite fell in Akershus, Norway, on the 27th December, 1848.
A total mass of 850 g was recovered.
