Venus can be seen at its brightest this week

This week, step outside any night about an hour after sunset and you will get to see the brilliant planet Venus at the western sky.
Although Venus is always one of the brightest objects in the sky, this week it is at its brightest, Discovery News reported.

Eyes on the Sky: Apr 23 thru Apr 29

See what's up in the night sky for the week of April 23 through April 29. The Moon bisects both the Pleiades and Hyades, then Venus and the Hyades a day later. The double star Cor Caroli in Canes Venatici is not difficult to find from most locations using the Big Dipper or Plough and Arcturus as a guide. And between Arcturus and Cor Caroli, learn how to spot the globular cluster M3.
