With a whistling noise a stone of about 100lb was seen to strike a tree and break into pieces.

The chondrule mesostases in Warrenton (C03.7) have been nearly completely replaced by nepheline or nepheline- rich aggregates.

The Warrenton (CO3.7) meteorite fell in Missouri, USA, on the 3rd January, 1877.
A total mass of 1600 g was recovered.
