Oklahomans Report Seeing Meteor In The Pre-Dawn Sky Tuesday

Very poor capture of what must have been a bright event over Kansas. Time on the Sentinel was 11:42:06 start (06:42:06 Central). There's a cutoff in the camera optics that masked the final trajectory. The combination of recent rains, unseasonably warm air, and no wind made moisture a problem as well. But at least I got it.
A flash of light in the early morning sky over the Great Plains on Tuesday lit up social media and cyberspace as witnesses tried to figure out what they had seen. Bob Henry, program director at the Wichita State University Lake Afton Observatory, said the light appears to have been a meteor about the size of a baseball. Read more
