Kon'ovo meteorite

A meteorite fell on May 26, 1931, at lat 42°32' N. and long 26°10' E. , near the village of Kon'ovo, Bulgaria. The original size of the meteorite was about 2 cm, and the hole made by its impact sloped to the west. A small fragment (1.46g) proved to be of the chondrite type.

The Konovo (OC) meteorite fell in Burgas, Bulgaria, on the 26th May, 1931.
A total mass of 100 g was recovered.

42° 31'N, 26° 10'E
