Thanks to a $50,000 donation from Synergy Credit Union, the College Park School will have a top-of-the-line observatory when it opens in September 2014. The Synergy Observatory will be the first structure of its kind in any public school across Western Canada.
Michael Diachuk, director of education at the Lloydminster Public School Division, said at a news conference on Monday that this will benefit the entire Lloydminster community.
