Key to Orbital elements

Comet C/2013 G2 (MCNAUGHT) was discovered by R. H. McNaught (Siding Spring Survey), on the 8th April, 2013. The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate perihelion passage was on the 1st December, 2012 at a distance of approximately 2 AU from the Sun.
