Comet P/2013 J3 (MCNAUGHT) was discovered by R. H. McNaught (Siding Spring Survey), on the 8th May, 2013. The preliminary orbital elements of the comet indicate perihelion passage on the 23rd May, 2013 at a distance of approximately 4.0 AU from the Sun.
