NGC 467 (also MCG 0-4-79, UGC 848 and PGC 4736) is a magnitude +12.1 elliptical galaxy located 251 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor on the 8th October 1785.
