NGC 7046 (also IRAS 21123+0237, MCG 0-54-9, UGC 11708 and PGC 66407) is a magnitude +13.2 barred spiral galaxy located 191 million light-years away in the constellation Equuleus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire, on the 10th October 1790.
