NGC 7648 (also IC 1486, IRAS23213 0923, UGC 12575, GWT 406.96, MCG 1-59-72, MK 531 or PGC 71321) is a magnitude +12.8 lenticular galaxy located 163 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.

The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 18th October 1784.

Position (J2000): R.A. 23h 23m 54.2s  |  Dec. +09° 40' 06"
