NGC 535 (also PGC 5282, UGC 997, MCG 0-4-133, GWT 385 124 or DRCG 7-35) is a magnitude +14.0 lenticular galaxy located 225 million light-years away in the constellation Cetus.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Heinrich Louis d'Arrest using a 27.94 cm (11 inch) f/17.5 refractor at the Copenhagen Observatory on the 31st October 1864.
