NGC 7549 (also Arp 99, IRAS 23127+1846, MCG 3-59-14, UGC 12457 and PGC 70832) is a magnitude +13.2 barred spiral galaxy located 218 million light-years away in the constellation Pegasus.
The galaxy was discovered by Bindon Stoney using a 182.88 cm (72 inch) reflector at Birr Castle on the 2nd November 1850.
