The Proton-M launch vehicle to launch Arabsat 4A communications satellite was delivered to Baikonur at night. The same day in the morning An-124 (Ruslan) airplane with Arabsat 4A aboard landed on the Yubileiny airport of Baikonur. The launch vehicle and the satellite will be transported to AITB and then specialists will start their preparations for launch.



Launch of Proton-M with Breeze-M upper stage and ArabSat 4A is scheduled for the night of February 28 - March 1, 2006.

Preparations for the first launch of this year of Proton-M launch vehicle with Arabsat 4A communications satellite are in progress on Baikonur launch site.

Foreign specialists with the help of the Khrunichev team started preparations of the clean room where the satellite will be prepared for launch. The delivery of the satellite to the launch site is scheduled for the end of the week.

Launch of Proton-M with Breeze-M upper stage and Arabsat 4A is scheduled for March 1, 2006.
