NGC 529 (also PGC 5299, UGC 995, MCG 6-4-19, GWT 521.23 or HCG 10B) is a magnitude +12.2 elliptical galaxy located 200 million light years away in the constellation Andromeda.
The galaxy is a member of Hickson Compact Group 10.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflecting telescope at Windsor Road in Slough, Berkshire, on the 17th November 1827.
