NGC 924 (also PGC 9302, UGC 1912, MCG 7.3.12 and GWT 462.12) is a magnitude +12.5 lenticular galaxy located 205 million light-years away in the constellation Aries.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Clay Hall Farm, old Windsor, Berkshire, on the 29th November 1785.
