NGC 1574 (also ESO 157-22, AM 0421-570, and PGC 14965) is a magnitude +10.3 lenticular galaxy located 48 million light years away in the constellation Reticulum.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 4th December 1834.
