NGC 995 (also PGC 10008, UGC 2118, MCG 7-6-44 andr GWT 539.63) is a magnitude +13.5 lenticular galaxy located 184 million light-years away in the constellation Andromeda.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 8th December 1871.
