NGC 1353 (also PGC 13108, ESO 548-31, MCG -4-9-22, IRAS 03298-2059, UGCA 76) is a magnitude +11.5 barred spiral galaxy located 70 million light-years away in the constellation Eridanus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-English astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm reflecting telescope at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 9th December 1784.
