NGC 163 (also PGC 2149, MCG -02-02-066, NPM1G -10.0017, GC 81) is a magnitude +12.7 elliptical galaxy located 275 million light-years away in the constellation Cetus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-English astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 10th December 1798.
