NGC 1607 (also PGC 15442, IRAS 04295-0433, MCG -1-12-23) is a magnitude +13.2 lenticular galaxy located 182.64 million light-years away in the constellation Eridanus.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 14th December 1881.
