NGC 1338 (also PGC 12956, MCG -2-9-44, IRAS03265-1219) is a magnitude +12.9 spiral galaxy located 113 million light-years away in the constellation Eridanus.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Edouard Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 15th December 1884.
