NGC 193 (also UGC 408, PGC 2359, and MCG +00-02-103) is a magnitude +12.4 elliptical galaxy located 197 million light-years away in the constellation Pisces. The galaxy is a few arcminutes from NGC 204.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 21st December 1786.
