NGC 2187 (also ESO 57-68, AM 0604-693, IRAS06041-6934 and PGC 1835) is a magnitude +12.3 spiral galaxy located in the constellation Dorado. It is located in the vicinity of magnitude 12.3 spiral galaxy NGC 2187A .
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 23rd December 1834.
