NGC 2811 (also MCG -3-24-3, UGCA 155, IRAS09138-1606, and PGC 26151) is a magnitude +11.4 inclined barred spiral galaxy located 109 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor, on the 31st December 1785.
