NGC 3708 is a lost object, possibly a quasar, located in the constellation Leo.
The object was discovered by American astronomer Ormond Stone using a 66 cm (26-inch) f/14.9 Alvan Clark refractor at the Leander-McCormick observatory at the University of Virginia, Charlottesville, Virginia, on the 31st December 1885.
