NGC 1620 (also PGC 15638, UGC 3103, MCG 0-12-52, GWT 393.46 or IRAS04340-0014) is a magnitude +12.3 spiral galaxy located about 161 million light-years away in the constellation Eridanus.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Clayhall Farm House in Old Windsor, on the 1st January 1786.
