NGC 2328 (also ESO 309-16, MCG -7-15-2, IRAS07010-4159 and PGC 20046) is a magnitude +12.1 lenticular galaxy located 54 million light years away in the constellation Puppis.
The galaxy was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) reflecting telescope at Feldhausen, Claremont, Cape Town, on the 1st January 1835.
