NGC 2308 (also PGC 19949, UGC 3618, MCG 8-13-37, GWT 234.37, 45.0086 NPM1G) is a magnitude +13.4 spiral galaxy located in the constellation Lynx.
The galaxy was discovered by French astronomer Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan using a 80.01 cm (31.5 inch) reflector at the Marseille Observatory on the 13th January 1872.
