Pennsylvania fireball of 1952 January 29

On the above date at 6:17 P.M., a very fine fireball crossed a considerable part of eastern Pennsylvania going in general from north to south. It so happened that the writer was about to leave town for several days, but before doing so he 'phoned the larger local papers asking them to put in a request for reports. On his return he found about 50 repors that had come in by telephone and about 350 letters etc.
