NGC 2792 (also PK 265+4.1, ESO 314-PN6 and Hen 2-20) is a magnitude +11.6 planetary nebula located 6160 light-years away in the constellation Vela.
The nebula was discovered by British astronomer John Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at the Cape of Good Hope on the 2nd March 1835.
