NGC 2913 (also UGC 5095, MCG 2-25-5 and PGC 27184) is a magnitude +13.4 spiral galaxy located 140 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. The galaxy is roughly 33' east of the star HD 82381.
The galaxy was discovered by German astronomer Albert Marth using a 121.92 cm (48 inch) reflector at William Lassell's Tigné Point observatory in Sliema, Malta, on the 10th March 1864.
