NGC 2690 (also UGC 4647, MCG 0-23-8 and PGC 24926) is a magnitude +13.3 spiral galaxy located 74 million light-years away in the constellation Hydra.
The galaxy was discovered by American astronomer Lewis Swift using a 40.6 cm (16 inch) Alvan Clark and Sons refractor at the Warner Observatory, East Avenue, Rochester, New York, on the 10th March 1886.
