NGC 4915 (also MCG -1-33-69, UGCA 318 and PGC 44891) is a magnitude +12.1 elliptical galaxy located 139 million light-years away in the constellation Virgo. In the sky it can be found roughly 5' southwest of the magnitude +15.3 galaxy NGC 4918.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Windsor Road, Slough, on the 11th March 1787.
