NGC 3384 (also NGC 3371, MCG 2-28-12, UGC 5911 and PGC 32292) is a magnitude +9.9 elliptical galaxy located 32 million light-years away in the constellation Leo. This galaxy belongs to the Leo I group of galaxies.
The galaxy was discovered by German-British astronomer William Herschel using a 47.5 cm (18.7 inch) f/13 speculum reflector at Datchet, Berkshire, on the 11th March 1784. The galaxy was rediscovered by John Herschel ln March 1830 and relisted as NGC 3371.
